On Saturday, October 1, 2006 the first Wheelchair Relay No Limit was held. 25 teams, including team Rotary (Alliston), were entered representing our area. |
| The purpose of the event was to not only raise funds to support those people with spinal cord injuries, but also to let able-bodied people experience using a wheelchair and make the public more aware of the challenges wheelchair users encounter. |

An estimated $20 000 was raised,
far above the expected total.
Although our club did not win the race, it was a win win situation for spectators, competitors and all wheelchair users. |
