Alliston delivered carnations to three homes the morning of Valentines Day
To celebrate Valentine's Day, and to provide a touch of warmth and caring
to the residents of Alliston's long-term care homes, the Rotary Club of
Alliston delivered carnations to three homes the morning of Valentines Day.  This is the
third consecutive year Rotary has made this gesture, which began during
COVID when visitors were restricted.  John McFarland and George Scott
picked up the flowers from Bern's Flowers and Gifts on Victoria Street,
who make their own Valentine's Day gift each year by offering Rotary a
generous discount.  Then the Rotarians personally delivered the flowers to
a coordinator at each facility who would distribute them internally.  Each
bucket contained exactly the number of flowers to match the number of
